I'm Fi and am married to Mike. We've got a 1960 Humber Super Snipe and 1953 Humber Hawk which is tucked away in garage being "worked on".
As well as the 2 Humbers, we've got a 1968 Safari caravan. It's a 13 foot 4 berth and goes nicely with Super Snipe. Wink

Oh yes and I know Gillberry for my sins. Wink

Spooky Giggle, spooky.

You posted today about humbers and whilst cleaning the spare room out I found a photo of my '63 MKi Humber Sceptre.

I'll try to scan it and post it here. I loved that car but only in hindsight......It was lovely to drive, ecconomical ....when the OD worked but when it broke down and I had to push it by myself it took over 2 hours to move it about 1/4 mile.....oh halcyon days of 1983......

Hello all! My name is Jim, and I go by "old gto", (which is also the tag number on my 1966 Pontiac). I live in Orlando, Florida. I was itroduced to this site by my good friend in Glasgow, Scotty.
What a wonderful website! In just the last 2 days I have seen some amazing photos here!
I collect radiator caps from the late 1920s to the mid 1930s. My main focus is on American makes, but I do have several interesting caps and mascots from Canada, the UK, and "down under". I`ll try to get a picture up later of one of my favorites....a 1938 Triumph! I also collect old gas pumps, signs, and a few old cars. My wife is a collector of anything Coca-Cola.
I`m 51, and the missus is.....a bit younger, LOL! I work in the county government, division of building saftey, as an inspector. I drove 9500 gallon gasoline tankers for 10 years before I got into the building trade.
Glad to be here, and I hope you don`t mind a yank popping in from time to time!

Indeed he is! And a transport historian to boot! And as I have fire-fighters in my family, he has that going for him too. Suave & debonaire, and married to a young cutie........(OK, maybe it`s getting a little thick!) Mr. Green Laughing

Hi there I have just signed in to the forum but have been reading other people posts lately and think its a great forum this one.
I am from Malta and in the past have sent a couple of emails to Rick (Admin) and on the main site there's a short story of my 2 minis.
Here's the link;
http://www.oldclassiccar.co.uk/visitors_mini.htm

Well now I have sort of started another restoration though still I am not that sure about it!
The car is a 1970 hillman hunter Deluxe which belonged to my father in law. I do not like the shape that much but couldn't bear to see it go to the scrap man and therefore took it over and have already collected a number of parts for it.
What do u people think, should I do it or forget it?!
