1974 , white with black vynil roof, original exhaust etc, 8 track, 1 owner and 16k miles
both cars laid up for a good while and not n bad condition, no welding needed to ether car, basically bodywork (no holes) just some surface rust, buth cars running fine
lookng for some help in restoring cars, i.e. (where can i get items chromed) (where to get spares) etc
Hi all...My name is Nial from Harrogate, I am currently restoring a 94 Celica GT4 which will probably be of no interest on here, but its good practice for my future plans when I try my hand at restoring a classic.....not sure what yet, I would like a Triumph Spitfire with a GT6 engine, or a Monte Carlo Rally inspired Mini....but who knows what will come my when when its time
Anyway...this forum has been helpful already, I have spent the day reading up on chassis painting which I can use on the Celica.
I look forward to doing something that will be of interest on here.
Is anyone going to the Goodwood Revival this year?

Welcome to the forum, glad you've found it of interest.
I'd like to get to this year's Revival, I've not been since 2006. Hopefully this year we'll get there...

Hi everyone, guys! I'm from Russia and my relative restore two cars, the first one is already restored and in a good condition, it's GAZ M20 of 1957, classic sedan, a wish of many post-Soviet people Here is the photo:
You can also check a retro-test-drive of the car HERE, but it's in Russian language, however you can see cool photos
The second project is almost the same GAZ M20, but it will be transformed into a crazy Hot-Rod and used as a ShowDemoCar. Here is the photo of the process:
Speaking about me, I'm currently working on Civic EG of 1992, but I make a fast competition car, so there is not much interesting for you, I think.
Well, there is also an old Soviet moped, but I will tell you about it next time)
Me, my friends and my relatives also working on a web-project, but I don't sure the moderators of the forum will be happy if I post the link here. In brief - this is a web-site devoted to automotive sphere, the site has virtual tours in which you can see various museums from the whole world. Well, I'll tell about other stuff in other threads =)

Hello folks,
I’ve just joined up to the forum, so a little introduction. I grew up on a small farm in Norfolk (UK), where most of the machinery was even then considered to be quite ancient. I developed a strong interest/addiction to all things from the past, particularly transport/farming related. I started my working life in the Engineering trade as an apprentice, then, after being made redundant, ended up working in a garage that specialised in restoring classic cars, mainly MG & Jaguar, but got to ‘play’ with most marques in one way or another. After several years of this & with the collapse in the classic car market at the time, I moved to a local body shop repairing modern stuff, accident damage, forecourt tidy up’s, that kind of thing, until I felt enough was enough & decided to start my own little business working on British bikes & the occasional Classic car.
At present I have a small collection of British bikes, (5 Nortons & a Triumph), a Lotus Elan +2 & a Ford Capri 2.8i, all up & running (the Capri is every day transport in all but the worst winter months) & a Reliant Scimitar, that was my every day driver, but is at present hiding in a corner awaiting time & finance. There always seems to be something else to use up both ! & of course, others have come & gone over the years. Wish I still had some of them !
I am involved in a couple of owners clubs & am on the organising committee of a local classic bike show so usually have plenty to keep me amused through the better months but thought it would be good to be able to chat to like minded people from the comfort of my armchair during these colder times.
