Lovely car and the Singers are all so well appointed. I have recently been told by a local farmer that he has a 1939 Singer Ten in his barn that he wanted to restore but the engine is totally seized. He said he has been quoted £3K to rebuild the engine and as a result he's lost interest. When I asked whether he wanted to sell it he quickly changed the subject!! |

Just searched on Google and this thread came up about the prewar Singer. We just had a 39 Super Ten sold at auction in the village.
