I've seen one or two things like that on eBay recently, imported from Italy. As you say, handy for nipping out to buy a pint of milk.

Hi Out there,
not my area but I think u'll find it's either a Ducati or perhaps a Moto Guzzi.....a similar engine was used on the Italian Police (Noddy bikes)
look at the first Italian Job movie...always good for a laugh...
the forks would b made in a jobbing shop....there's a lot of this sort of thing all over that part of the world, remember Italy was a very poor country when this was made.....incidentally I was in the boonies of Portugal only 2 years ago and there was vehicles like this on the roads then, mostly small holders going to market....should have a prize for guessing how many melons u can get on the back....hahaha...

take care Frank in France

I'd find space for something like this, no problem.

Almost certain it's a much modified Moto Guzzi with a horizontal 500cc OHV engine as used in 3 wheel utility vehicles very much like this one and were also their "Falcone" bikes. There was an original one offered on eBay recently and were still in use as factory runabouts in the 80's and M/Guzzi also developed an awesome looking 3 wheel drive (yes- 3 wheel drive!)military version many years ago that could almost climb up the side of a house.
