Hi all, back again, another cry for help. When I got my Prefect the aeroplane mascot/bonnet release was missing. Now I have acquired a couple plus all the bits but I have no idea how it all fits together inside the bonnet nose. Does it just twist, where does the spring go Can't seem to find a sketch .can any one help please . Apart from that all mechanical done, runs well just waiting for spray and trimming inside new head lining

Hi, I have an E93A bonnet with the mechanism in place down in our shed. I will be heading down there on Sunday so will try to take some pics or sketch it out for you.

From memory the FSOC used to reproduce the factory manual, and I think they did the parts list too. Failing that, one should turn up either on ebay or perhaps with one of the book sellers that advertise in the magazines. The parts list covers all the upright Fords.
