I have been debating with myself and others on this forum with some great advice, as to what to get for my very first pre war car and have now decided. I am now looking for a Morris 8 series 1 two door.

Anyone know of a suitable car for someone with a low budget? must look the part, oily rag or pristine and be drivable.

I live in Sutton in Surrey but am willing to purchase a car anywhere in the UK if the price was right.

pwood13660@blueyonder.co.uk

Email photos if you think you have a car suitable.

Thanks, Paul

Sorry Rick, I have now included my email address but still not up to 25 or more posts, hopefully you will not withdraw my Morris 8 wanted request.

Sorry, should have read the rules first.

I have 2 door series 1 8 that I'd sell, its complete however it is a restoration project: the mechanical bits have all been done so it drives and stops, the chassis has been restored, but everything else needs completely restoring.

Cheers

Dave

Hi all, just like to say thanks for all the great advice everyone had about my finding the right pre-war car. I have now found my baby and hopefully will have many years of enjoyment with her.

Car was purchased from a lovely Guy.

Paul

This is my new baby.
