With the temperatures starting to drop I am aiming to have my lorry cab ready to spray very soon, within the next couple of weeks or so.
I am set on which paint and primer etc, I have all my wet'n'dry bought, all masking sundries, tack cloths etc.
But my question would be what is the best way of cleaning the gun after use? I was told wash it through like you would clean brushes, I use white spirit on brushes so is that ok to use?
Any recommendations? _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |

I paid a lot for my gun so was quite thorough in stripping it right down, soaking all parts in the same thinners as I used for the paint (or use a cheaper gun wash grade). Once all clean, I reassemble and blast some clean thinners through.
A good mate who does a bit of spraying just blasts through with thinners and leaves it at that, never seems to have any bother.
