Looks great!

Hi Peter,i'll guess you mean the totrod i am building for my grandson?
Home build chassis, tomos 2 gear automatic.
I am classic car fan,own a stock Anglia 105e,peugeot 404(stock)and a rodded 1948 Anglia,1969 50cc racebike and the Terrot so i have various interests.
Kind of a petrol head i guess..........
My grandson(6years old)is a huge fan of the '48 Anglia and racing cars so i promised to build him a little car........
I will try to build it from scrap and donated parts and that will determin the shape and model,it will grow into something wild and weird.........

Hi René

That looks like a nice piece of engineering. I like the "totrod" title too. I think it has also triggered Rick to start a new thread.

Thanks,

Peter

Entire coincidence! but a thread just on the tot-rod would seem like a good idea!!

Well i like to start a seperate thread but don't know where to place this.
Perhaps Rick can split this and place it into the right section?

Did some more work on the totrod, found some cool lamps on a swapmeet and did some alloy sheetwork.
Also turned the cilinder 180 degrees so the carb sits low and the exhaust faced backwarts

No foot brake........the kid is used to operate a handbrake on his pedal kart and i don't want him get confused and push the accelerator instead of the footbrake.
On his pedalkart he is very capable with the handbrake so i am really confident he will manage to use it on the totrod too.
