My friend Marty built this 1917 Titan from a pile of rusted junk.
He had the machine shop make him a set of piston rings out of a cast iron sewer pipe.
Last winter water got into the engine and froze cracking the cylinder.
now it is yard art

That's a terribly sad tale! I can well imagine how Marty felt about it.

I just converted this 1946 Ford 8n to 12v alternator and used the same 6v starter and added a ballast resistor to save the points.
I had a hard time getting the New points to adjust to .015" and looked on line and they suggested to file the holes due to poor quality parts but the point I had needed a little more metal in the holes. I used the old set marked with FORD proudly on them . they adjusted perfect
sure spins nice now
