I Have recently done up a Bottogas stove (two burners and grill) This is an early type , Having the brass Tee type gas taps, What I was wondering is their is any one who uses one of these cookers The taps seem to get very hot when in use, This is because the burners are cast ally and are threaded internally and screw directly on to the brass gas taps , Which are also threaded to accept them, thus the heat from the burner body is transferred directly to the brass tap. Their are the normal air holes cast into burners for mixture adjustment.
