We've just had a cracking good weekend at the new Retro Caravan Club's first rally.Sixteen vans attended in glorious sunshine. Well done to rally organisers and Club mainstays Chris and Cameron and Chris and Jane, it was rather special.
But, can you make sure that we have the same weather next time??????????????
So, if you're into classic caravans, and fancy some relaxed, free and easy weekends among like-minded people, google Retro caravan Club, and come and join us.
Btw, the club was only founded in October, and has in excess of 250 members already!

Thanks for the great review, Emmerson! We really did enjoy it and had a great time. It was fantastic to meet so many like minded people. Other than to pop out to the Supermarket on the Saturday, we never actually left the campsite for four days as we were that occupied chatting to everyone and having a good look at all the caravans! The weather couldn't have been more on our side either.

If anyone wants to see the photos of the weekend, you can see them on the Retro Caravan Club website: http://www.retrocaravanclub.co.uk/spring-fling

And of course, anyone is welcome to join. Just £15 for the year including four printed full-colour magazines (just increased to 40 pages), public liability cover and an exclusive network of social rallies all over the country. Anyone with merely an interest in classic caravans is welcome to join, we accommodate everyone. We even try to book campsites for social rallies that offer 'Glamping' and so far have members who don't own classic caravans renting ones for the weekend to take part in the rallies. It's a very relaxed, laid back and above all friendly group for like minded people. For display rallies, our cut off date is 1982 and for social rallies our cut off date for caravans is 1990. As of this week, our membership stands at 262.
