I have a 1959/60 Spite 400 lightweight caravan. Can anyone tell me what gas mantles it should have ie number 1or number 2 ?

It's the No.1 or "Bijou" fitting if it's got the original lamps. Sometimes they were upgraded when the No.2 came out as they were brighter. It should be a chromed lamp with a round base on the wall with an 'arm' reaching out to attach the mantle to and a glass shade

I've just advertised a job lot of "Camping Gaz" stuff on Gumtree, including quite a lot of gas mantles.
