Hi
As it says, I always thought there was just one basic shape but have recently seen a different one; I then looked at the shows album on the main site and found another type.
So what was the difference, did they have different engines eg a 6cyl in the long nose ones?

I tried putting the IMG s infront and behind but they didn't work.

The first two are six cylinder 5.1 litre engines, and the third is a four cylinder, either 3.8 or 2.2 litre.
Great little workhorses, all of them, as long as I didn't have to drive them!

Yes, from memory the 6cylinder versions had the snout to accommodate the longer engine.

Yes, quite as I remember it. The 4 cylinders were either petrol or diesel too.

Totally without frills. I quite liked them except for the seating. It struck me as too narrow which, with the glass house of the cab, always made me feel that I was perched on the thing!

But I remember them as tough little beasts.

Hi
I occasionally drove a short nose diesel one delivering newspapers from the train to the shops.
Unladen they were a bit light on the road, I did a 180 degree flip one morning in the wet when a set of lights changed on me on a bend.
The gear change was a bit odd as well it felt that you were reaching round behind your left side to shift to the rear most positions, 2 and 4.
