Hi all,

Here are a few snaps from the recent one-day show at Cholmondeley Castle, I did my best to exclude the cars of the 2000s and 2010s that somehow were acceptable to the show's organisers ....

Yes, I thought there were a few newer cars this time, especially considering that the 1000 passes had all gone and they were parking cars in an overflow area over the bridge. The rules used to be that cars had to be 15 years old or more, but if on a club stand, as long as 75% of the stand is 15 or older, the remainder can be newer. New organiser this year, maybe that's something to do with the change. It doesn't entirely bother me - we have to get some newer blood into the classic scene if it's not going to die off - but it will if I can't get a pass one year because someone in a five-year-old car got it first.

Another fine effort Rick! I have been through these snaps over and over again, and such variety.
The restorer of the red Victor deserves a knighthood.
The coal Minor three quarters of the way down, did you happen to identify the engine?

Thank you so much for posting these. I imagine it must have taken a bit of time.

I saw a few of the cars (not the actual vehicle of course!) that I have owned over the years. I was happy to see the Mk3 Zodiacs. I had one of the "Executive" models, in a lovely light gold/champagne colour when it was only a few years old. It was a lovely car.

......... and thanks to Rick from me too. I am not able to attend these kind of shows now and so many models that I remember either driving, travelling in, ogling over, or other.

We have a home run business now and upload photos on FB, there isn't anything that takes zero time.
