They are all 20 years old + or - and they look brand new!
I had a close look at some 1950's petrol Bedford " Green Goddesses" outside Ellesmere Port Fire Station at the time of the last Firemen's strike.
The press at the time was complaining that the Army were having to use these rusted and dangerous wrecks.
Every one I examined at looked pristine despite their age. A soldier I spoke with told me that every one they operated had done less than 5000 miles from new. _________________ Starting Handle Expert

Very nice of you to think of me Steve.
I think that one is the last of the batch of the ones you posted about in December 2016, the seller is the same.
Interesting vehicle and it may be of interest to some of you to know that the North Wales Fire Service has been disposing of it's own fleet of Land Rover 110 fire tenders over the last two years. The were all 1988/89 registered so not Defenders as such and they all had V8 petrol engines.
The one at our own retained station was an "F" (1988) registered vehicle and when disposed of in 2015 at a local auction had less than 10k miles on it's odometer and it was spotless.
I believe that each of them sold for only slightly more than the current bid price of the Japanese one in Steve's post.
The only motorcycle I could offer you for your return journey is an early 1970s Steyr-Puch 50cc moped which will have to be disinterred from a villager's garage. It's been there since about 1975 when it's owner fell off it one icy morning. _________________ Starting Handle Expert
