Hi Rick, just for your info,eBay rears it's ugly head again. When opening OCC it states in lower left ' waiting for adn ebay '. Results in long delay opening, frozen pages 'this page has become unresponsive ' & slow transitions. It is also similar on eBay site with frozen & unresponsive pages. Doesn't happen all the time but becoming more regular. All the best,JD.

I have no problem at all. I use adblocker. Does that make the difference?

This must be an issue that applies to users of pcs, I use an iPad and have never had an issue?

Hi Rick, still being frustrated by 'waiting for adn ebay' on OCC. It's even worse on eBay.co.uk, to the point of being ready to fling the PC out of the window. Funny thing is on eBay NZ there is no problem. I have put a question on 'community' but, of course, no one within eBay looks at anything which may be a complaint.
Kind regards,JD.

Hi Rick, just had a sudden thought(doesn't happen very often) Empty cache, browsing history etc. Massive improvement on OCC - not much difference on eBay but the main thing is on 'our'(your) website. Worth a try for the other posters on here, all the best,JD

Oops, spoke too soon - already back to waiting for 'adn.ebay.com' Sorry.

25.2.17.
Hasn't been bad on here Rick but it's back to 'waiting for adn.ebay' today.
Ebay is a joke - OK for about 3mins after login & then it's away again. I have checked it on my other PC & laptop but it's just the same. I'm surprised eBay is still selling stuff, all the best,JD.

I find that Firefox doesn't work well with visiting ebay on this PC, but MS Edge (or whatever their browser is now called) is a lot zippier.

Hi Rick, I use Chrome on all & have no problems with other forums etc only with eBay. It's an eBay problem but it appears impossible to complain to them.
They don't take any notice of the little man,all the best,JD.

Let's see if we can find a solution. I suspect that this is possibly connection or a browser configuration issue so could those who are experiencing problems advise which operating system they're using and which browser?

I'm on BT Infinity Fibre 2 (Up to 76Mb speed) and use:

Windows 7 64-bit and Opera v43 on my PC
Windows 10 64-bit and Opera v43 on my laptop

Android 6.0 and Opera 42.4 or Opera Mini on my tablet
Android 6.0 and Chrome on my phone

In every case, OCC appears within a few seconds (both the forum and the main page) with no snags due to Ebay or anyone else. I normally use Opera with its built in ad blocker 'On' but switching it off makes no difference to OCC loading time.

Similarly Ebay. I have a lot of searches bookmarked and all of them (some are to overseas Ebay sites) load within seconds, even those I may not look at for several weeks.

Over to you.
