Hi all,

Quick question - is there a simple way of removing silver oversprayed paint, from tyres that are fitted to poorly re-painted wheels?

Back in the day I have used cellulose thinners to do the same thing on some light overspray. Once the paint was lifted, cleaned off the tyre with Swarfega and then soap and water.

Panel Wipe is what I use and I think it removes less surface rubber than cellulose thinners.

Water Washable (Green) Nitromors works well and doesn't take any rubber off.
