Basically, "I'm too lazy to get it taken to the scrap yard, so thought I'd see if there's a mug on eBay"
You really can sell any kind of complete trash on eBay.

Knowing the prices of classic Fords I wouldn't be surprised if someone didn't buy it!

No, but a reputable Jaguar dismantler told me years ago that he knew of at least three Jaguar Mark 2 3.8 litre which were in use when he had in fact dismantled and scrapped the actual original vehicles!

Demand for 1600E's may give rise to all sorts of, ahem, "original thinking".

Positively encouraged by the wording of the ad. I'd say.

May as well have advertised it as a Cortina Lotus and expected five times the price - who would know the difference from that pile?

Hi
If the orignal vehicle hasn't been officially written off at DVLA then the VIN plate etc would give a car thief a cheap real ID for another nicked Cortina for which he could claim a lost V5.

I have seen much better dustbins, some of them in Dagenham! Laughing
Surprisingly, given its modest price, it did not sell. Maybe he should list the pallet afterall! Confused

We noticed at Beaulieu recently the increase in stallholders selling buff logbooks, many of them at very high prices. Its like a craze at the moment and prices just seem to be silly.
