Yep Google Wacky Arnolt. He did rebodied conversions of MGs, Bristols and stuff. Some interesting cars Well worth looking at. That one is on an MG TD |

Hi
I think the Arnolt MG was the most stylish he did.
The Bristols and Astons had very similar bodies with no obvious reference to the parent car.

Interestingly you were better to buy a pink TD with 0 - 60 mph in 16.5 secs
rather than a blue one that only manages 19.4 secs. I wonder if the same colour sensitivity applied to the Arnolts?

Hi
Blue colour cut down the top speed as well, it must be a heavier pigment. _________________ Bristols should always come in pairs.

The blue car weighs 30lbs more (heavier pigment) and runs on 1 1/4" carbs versus the 1 1/2" on the white car.

The Arnolt MG is indeed a fine looking car. Can you imagine one of these with a nice 3 ltr straight 6 in that long bonnet? Perhaps a Big Healey engine would be in keeping.
