Hi all,

Last weekend we drove over to Leicester to take junior to the National Space Centre (he's studying planets and space at school). There's certainly plenty there to take in, it's a bit manic and the cafe's not up to much, but a few of the exhibits were worth a look and the planetarium was quite impressive.




Next door is the Abbey Pumping Station, where various collections relating to the Station's early life, and local technology and industry, can be found. Entrance is free. As it's right next to the Space Centre, we wandered over for a look. Quite a few transport-related exhibits were on display, some of which are shown below ....
