Good morning chaps, where can I buy short (3-4 yards) of electrical wiring in various colours and trace colours to re-wire the B.S.A. trike?

I don't want to buy a drum of 100 meters when I only need a few yards!

Looking forward to your leads.

Cheers, Tony.

Good afternoon Bitumen boy, I saw this website whilst searching but I didn't see any coloured cable with a tracer colour. I'll drop them an email. Thanks for the recomendation.

The colour chart I saw had every colour combination you could think of for every consievable circuit. Do you (or anyone else) have a simplyfied colour coding regime?

Cheers, Tony.

It's there, but you have to select the main colour and then the tracer colour from the drop-down menus.

Follow on question chaps, so what were the cable colours used in the 1930's?

Cheers, Tony.

Vehicle Wiring Products sells the full range per metre

Standard colours for Lucas electrics but a lot pre-50's and motorcycles into the 60's used their own or modified.

Prewar Lucas cables were different colours to post war
