I've known about this old US Army truck for 30 years. It changed hands many times and now it looks like it will be loaded on a freight truck and sent off to places unknown.

Huge inline 6 petrol engine
Allison automatic transmission

Just to be a bit pedantic, isn't a "deuce and a half" actually three?
Shall I get me coat? |

Joined the forum recently, hence my scanning of old posts!
The duel rear wheel set up is unusual for the Canadian armed forces as (they) tend to prefer a single wheel configuration for 6x6's … generally referred to as Eager-beavers. Given it's age perhaps this one escaped from the US long ago _________________ 1987 classic Range Rover Vouge

A great many models have served me well since the 'sixties, all of them old & some even older than me. |

You are right Norseman it is a US truck.
I knew the late owner who brought it up from the states loaded with everything you could think of on building a wilderness homestead. It towed a trailer with more homesteading equipment. |
