Hi all,

Quite a handsome machine and it appears to be in fine condition, I'm not sure that I've seen one of these in the metal (a few saloons, but no coupes as yet).

Hi
Lovely motor, our second family car in about '61 was a 4dr saloon.
I hope the hydraulic front suspension is OK ours used to understeer quite badly.
We solved it, inadvertently, by fitting a pr of radials on the front (this was before the law forbidding this) and it then went round corners on rails; mind you it wouldn't castor back to straight afterwards which was probably why the law did get changed later.

Nice to see a fairly tidy old Vauxhall. From my perspective they are fairly scarce on the old car scene. Could Google it but someone here is bound to know - were wire wheels standard??

This Vauxhall saloon (on the main site) is on spoked wheels, and dates to 1935/6

Lovely car, not many nice old pre-war Vauxhalls about these days.

Anyone have any idea what a complete but (very) rough early Tickford light six would be worth ?
