Looking for advice. I have a 1979 Citroen CX, a car that I acquired about 3 years ago as a restoration project. Due to ill health shortly after buying it my work on it ground to a halt and it sat beside the house since. I am looking to sell it as a restoration project or spares vehicle. I am in Ireland, would it be wise to advertise it in the UK as well as locally. I would be hoping to get around 1100/1200 for it. It is a Cmatic, great engine and box. What would the likelihood of somebody crossing the Irish sea for it. It needs paint, welding , I replaced the rear gaiters, seats and pipes and next job was the outer cills and door bottoms but circumstances intervened.it looks presentable (at a distance).

I have had great success with this site, you don't seem to get the timewasters which are common on another well known auction site, and you can advertise for free. Good Luck with the sale.
