Back in my Caravan days, never had one. They are very popular over here.
From simple to hi-tech powered versions and DIY.
We have two utility trailers and a 16ft boat. All are parked on grass and need to be moved during grass cutting.
Back in the UK, I had a winch and two snatch blocks in part of the drive, because it wasn't possible to park the "van when hitched up and the gradient didn't help. One of these, motorised, would have been great. |

I wonder if, under the strict letter of the law, a motorised dolly would have to be licensed, registered and insured ? |

Thanks. so getting even more trivially pedantic. If your dolly mounted caravan is proceeding along the Queen's highway and collides with a vehicle, person or property, do you have insurance ?
Do you remember the "good old days" when folk didn't concern themselves with such matters and have you noticed that there are no longer accidents ?
Life is full of liabilities and blame. |

I must dig out my old red licence.
Wasn't there a category for pedestrian-controlled vehicles?
I may be wrong, but I'm thinking of GPO & maybe milk deliveries. _________________ Mike - MVPeters at comcast.net

Hi
I'm sure you can make an electric hand controlled model using a Golf Buggy/Trolley.
My next door neighbour has something which uses rollers which can be pushed down onto the wheels and with the jockey wheel taking the front load each road wheel can be independently controlled with a little handcontrol like a simple TV blipper.
He can even sit inside and "drive" it if it is raining. _________________ Bristols should always come in pairs.
