I've no experience of them, but I too was quite taken with that one, although ten grand seems a bit steep for one with damaged upholstery and a re-issued registration ... _________________ in the garage: 1938 Talbot Ten Airline

In my opinion the Mayflower is an ugly little thing where the styling does not work, the Renown however pulls the styling off quite well on the longer chassis. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |

That looks like a very good example. The engine and gearbox are essentially the same as in the Jaguar 1½ litre. The later ones used the much more ubiquitous Triumph 2 litre engine that has rather better spares provision.
