Thing is, if you were trying to flog an old logbook for a vehicle (presumably in the hope that someone will fork out ££ to use it in a nefarious fashion), the last thing you'd do is reveal the reg. no., chassis no. etc!?!?!? I assume DVLA will keep a regular eye open for such listings, and make a little note should the car - or at least a car with this registration - miraculously "return to life" at some point in future.

My Grandparents ran a proper village breakers yard many years ago, I have drawers full of old logbooks from some very interesting old beasts. I could make a fortune....or not! Nice to keep memorabilia in my opinion. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |
