I did not see this as I was probably at work, but this is just a couple of miles from me!

The owner walked away with mere cuts and bruises.

New Ferrari eh?
Just as well that it wasn't an F40, the owner can buy another new F430 Scuderia.

Anyone else think that it could have been caused by "lack of talent" ?

As Martin Brundle once quipped when commentating on F1, a case of ambition over adhesion perhaps. I've not read the article in depth so can't comment on the owner.

I watched someone a few years back on the Le Mans circuit and he lost it on the straight, flooring the throttle on puddles and going head-first into the concrete wall. That car was new out of the box too.

Out of the box talent is rare, most have to learn by their mistakes, unfortunately rather expensive on this occasion Rolling Eyes

There's no shortage of out of the box stupidity though.

Hi
I wonder what the chances are that the driver plays the game that should not be mentioned on here?

It goes back a long way, and centres around my deep dislike of anything that refers to sporting events that involve two teams of eleven players, kicking a spherical object for little obvious reason. Mention of the glorious game too often can lead to suspension(s) Wink Smile
