Hi all,

Did anyone here attend this year's show? I've not been, looking at the cars (see link) it's quite refreshing to see "normal" cars be the main event, ie not the really rare, or the really valuable, just the day-to-day cars that tend to disappear from regular view without most people noticing.

It's a fantastic event, I've been to all except the first one. Only gripe was having the best costume and the judges didn't even see us - the guy that won was just wearing a normal suit!!!

I took my 1980 Vauxhall Royale this year.

I consider a Royale to be a little bit more than unexceptional. Lovely cars, I miss my A bodied Senator.

Hi John. It's a big upgrade from the early Maestro base I owned until recently. Lovely to drive, likes a drink though!

Here you go Rick Very Happy

Great Photo !! I remember the "house brick" phones.

I also had a Senator, it had been "breathed on" when I bought it and "didn't arf shift !"
