Austin Maxi top hose can be used as an Austin Seven bottom hose. Both £6.

Still a mouthwatering sports car. If there was a good enough kit I would relish the chance to build a replica. I just love the look.

Re parts cost: a mate had a 1976 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow for which he needed rear brake flexi pipes. RR price £90+. Same pipe for a mini £2.54.
He didn't keep the RR very long!
