Anyone interested in reading about my rather strange, but wonderful machine from the 1900's? www.phanomobil.co.uk

Fascinating car! A bit too different for me however! You have produced a very readable feature and I wish you all the luck in the world to get the pieces that you still need.

I know Harry P quite well, but was not aware that he owned one of these machines.

Its weird being the same age as old people.
You are either part of the problem or part of the solution

Good story, Kim. Photos are great too.
Did you manage to find out anything about the Phano that was owned by a member of the Veteran Car Club of Australia (Victoria)?

Just watched the film, Kim. As soon as I heard the name 'Norm Hall' I remembered that he was the owner of the vehicle when I knew it, so it is indeed the same car that I knew over 50 years ago.

You would be quite within your rights to ignore my opinion but I would question just how safe this three wheeled vehicle would be to drive.?

I know this is not the same three wheeled configuration but is this the danger you had in mind Ray?

Sorry Peter but that link won't work. I ask the question about safety not just because it only has three wheels because I thought it just didn't look safe. I think the safest configuration must be with two wheels in front like a Morgan for example. That said, thousands of Reliants have taken to the road with no problem.

The link is a download of a .wmv file. You need to wait for the download.

If you are using Quick Time I guess you are an Apple user. How about?

Use VLC player for Mac or Wins. This should play just about everything.

Done it at last! My wife helped me and now I am in the dog house because she had bread in the oven which now has a very crunchy crust. I would be safer in that 3 wheeler than getting her cross!!
