Hi all,

This gem should warm the cockles of any Farina fans reading this, it looks immaculate although I assume the UXJ registration is probably a replacement.

My little A30 is 174 UXP and I was in a co-op car park a couple of years back and a chap came over to chat, as they do, to say, I learned to drive in one of those or my dad had one of those, lots of similar things are said, but no, instead he said, did you know that number is a London bus number that was never allocated, I new it was age related, but didn't have a clue about what vehicle it might have been destined for, can anybody confirm this ?

The guy doesn't have a clue how to tie wedding ribbons on, that's for certain. Looks a lovely motor though.

Hi troutrunner

You might like to look at this thread about LT reg numbers where I raised your query.

Thanks for that Penman, I had a quick read and will revisit tomorrow.

I had not a clue there were folk out there that are so passionate about registration numbers

Cheers, Paul.
