Interesting, but should it be preserved/conserved, or restored????

It should be left as it is, much more interesting than yet another boring over restored Land Rover in my opinion!

If it was mine I would just use it, all too often cars are being trailered to shows, never used and prices become well beyond the reach of us commoners.
If its restored it will just become a Land Rover with a list of blokes names under it and suddenly worth more than a house.
Off to put my soap box away

Hi
The body needs a conservator rather than a restorer. I wonder if the mechanicals can be conserved yet still work.

Because of what it is and its historical importance surely a nut and bolt concourse resto would be over the top?

Conserve it rather that restore it. Put it in a museum as it has been found.

Just drive it anyway. I mean, it doesn't need an MOT nowadays!

Restoration of that would be sacrilege! They've already got HUE 166, why do they need another one? Oily rag only needed here.
OK, if they must, make it run, but otherwise leave it alone! Evil or Very Mad
