These two versions of the Lancia Fulvia work well:

I've seen some home made Mini convertibles that looked smart - but just as many more that looked hideous, and who knows how weatherproof any of them are? |

In the early 2000s there was one Mini Clubman convertible in this area.
Outwardly it seemed a neat conversion but whether it was a professional conversion I don't know.
One day however I was following this Mini on the A470 and viewed from behind it seemed to "crab" when proceeding even in a straight line.
In corners the deformation appeared more pronounced but many old style Minis looked like this. _________________ Starting Handle Expert

Minis sufferer from alarming wear of the suffrage where rear radius arms attach. This makes them crab. I bought one and never knew until a mate was following me one day and pointed out. When I got underneath the frame had an elongated slot for a hole.
Moved it on quickly.
I hate minis.....!
