Is it me or are the rails curved half way up or down to give room for passing ? (second Triumph photo I think). _________________ Paul

I recall going on this when I was a child.

Hi
Yes it is the passing point, the cars counterbalance each other so always meet at the same place.
In fact until seeing these pics I thought it was a 3 rail system for the straight parts. _________________ Bristols should always come in pairs.
