Hi all

Just picked up a Austin A40 Somerset few days back. Needs a full restoration.

Will be a long term project

should be arriving end of May as i need to get garage for my garage plot to store it before itís brought up.

Need to find out who I can send Vin to as itís no plate so need to figure out hopefully from vin number what it is so I can get one made for it and apply for V5

Thanks Smile will be my first vintage project but been after one for ages.

Will need a fair bit of work but the main things are there for it

Good luck with your Somerset restoration- Iíve completed a full ďfrom bare chassisĒ resto on mine, along the way Iíve found some super artisans to work with, and for the best help you should join the Austin Counties Car Club - they have an excellent parts supply for what up until recently hs been a relatively unloved old car. Any questions, shout for help!
