Thank you. Thought it was a car. I have another bezel-wound one of similar vintage. Just have to decide which one goes in the car!

Thanks again.
I have been "testing" the clock. Seems to keep good time and responds to the "fast /slow" adjustment. On occasions it just stopped and required a shake to get it going again. (plenty of wind on the spring!)
I guess it could do with a clean inside..?

An old bloke once told me of a way to clean the internals of an old clock.

Open the back to access the workings and position it, workings down over a dish of methalated spirits to get the dust and beasties out.
