I have tried 4 or 5 specialist Insurance companies now with regards Insuring my 1950 Commer lorry. So far none will offer recovery for anything over 3.5 tons.
Rick, can I ask who you have Insuring the Dodge?
Also, does anyone else on the forum Insure a larger vehicle?

Big Dodge is insured with Hagerty, on a grouped-together type policy with the others.

Doesn't the HCVS offer a Club Insurance scheme?

The best quote I have had is through the RAC, which actually use Hagerty as the Insurer. The problem being they won't offer recovery.
Looking at a recent Classic Commercial mag the HCVS advert does say they offer Insurance with vehicle recovery, I am not a member but could join even if just for that.
