Last Saturday saw the annual Weaver Wander set off from the town square in Nantwich. Few pre-war cars made an appearance but otherwise there was a decent mix of (mainly) interesting cars taking part.

In an era of stop-start hybrids and muted-yet-still-clattery diesels, the concentration of burbling petrol V8s in one place was quite cheery to note, thanks to a good turnout of Stags, TVRs, plus a few kit cars, Americans, and a 3.5 litre Land Rover. Long may it continue.
