I was perusing the catalogue of this wonderful collection of Fords from the turn of the century and love some of the wagons, pickups, and particularly this camper:-

http://www.bonhams.com/auctions/25077/lot/122/

The whole collection can be viewed here:-

http://www.bonhams.com/auctions/25077/?department=MOT-CAR#/aa0=1&MR0_length=10&w0=list&aj0=lot_number_asc&e0_0=MOT-CAR&m0=0

For what they are and the condition they seem to be in, the estimates do not seem to be very dear, but then I am out of my comfort zone here.

I like a lot of the trucks particularly the 38 Ford Model 81W. The cabover arrangement looks nice on this one.

Ooooo I'd be dangerous at this sale if my pockets were deep, favourites include the Model AA breakdown truck, lowdrag's camper, the '37 Autobus (white/blue), and any of the Lincoln Coupes.

Quite a collection!

Have to disagree regarding the camper van, I think it’s an abomination of a vintage vehicle. It’s not one thing or other to me.
Otherwise some interesting vehicles to be seen.

I think that Rick and I are going toe to toe for the breakdown truck.

Actually I've changed my mind, I agree now that I've had a closer look at the full-size image, the camper's not for me. Good job I didn't leave a bid on it Smile Smile

There are certainly some exciting and interesting vehicles there, however 'Caveat Emptor' there are quite a few errors in description- here are just a few-
Lot 108 cannot be a 1910 T it is in fact a TT and much younger by 16 years,
Lot 126 is either a BB or a V8, but cannot be both.
Lot 144 is about 1923, certainly not a 1917 TT- there were only a handful built in'17
Lot 170 is not a Model A, but a 1926/7 T
Lot 269 is a Model A, not a Model T.

Some of the pre-T cars are highly desirable, I'd love to posses the Model K.

I am actually tempted to put a bid in for lot 193 - the 1904 model C 10 hp Brighton eligible car. Unfortunately, I expect a lot of other people will be tempted too!

If only...
Looking at he whole collection there are some lovely mid 30's V8 saloons. The maroon V8-78 would suit me, if only I had the money.

All those vintage cars are stunning! That Model AA side tipper truck looks totally cool.
