POTD 26/6/2018 is a photo first added to the site back in October 2007. In it, a young lady is shown with a 1939/40 Hillman Minx. Driving lessons were the order of the day apparently.

An interesting photo, Rick. I am puzzled by the rustic style secondary shafts on the vehicle and the fact that they have props on the leading ends.

Is the liquid contained actually petrol, or is it something less volatile? the lid is open and unattended.

Rick, in your opening remarks, did you mean "start the bull rolling"? The motive power here is a steer.

Great idea for the photos, Rick, I'll be looking forward to more appearing.

Going back to that first photo...I think what you are looking at is a fuel hose.

Long-term OCC followers will have seen this snap before in one or two locations.

POTD number 13 (unlucky for some ....) shows a lorry - perhaps an AEC - taking a dip.

oops!
On a similar theme, I was chatting to someone recently and the topic of the old spherical BOC (maybe) tankers came up. Anyone got a photo, or have seen one in restoration?

POTD shows "Marj & Rene" with a racey Lea-Francis Hyper. An ink-written note below it reads:

"Ready to 'go places' and 'do things' as the yanks say".

Added into the OCC image archive on March 29th 2011.

POTD for 4th July 2018 is a side-on view of a twin-cam Austin 7 racer at, I'm led to believe, Crystal Palace.

First included on OCC 9/9/2008
