Hi folks,
Yesterday's excursion to Cholmondeley Castle was a pleasant affair, with the weather warm enough without getting hot, which suited both little Dodge and myself very well.
Here are a few of the more interesting cars, rubbing shoulders with hordes of modern metal that is a regular feature of this organiser's events. The pre-war cars are pushed away to the furthest corner of the field, while prime positions are given over to numerous recent Jaguars, Mercedes and Fords, such a shame IMO. I'm told that clubs are able to give a certain %age of passes to members who don't actually own anything old, but want a cheap day out with their pals who do own an old car.
Anyway, the interesting cars. The liveried Starcraft camper was particularly interesting, while the two vintage Rolls-Royces, the M-B 600 and the Facel Vega, were treats to encounter.
