I tried to save it but it slipped out of my 'and chief!

I've gone and cracked the glass on one headlight. Does anyone know where I can locate a 7" glass. Vertical lines over the whole area apart from a diamond in the centre (North South axis longer than the East West axis with narrower lines inside that.

Here's hoping.

Cheers, Tony.

It's for the B.S.A. but I don't think it's 'legit' and there are no manufacturers markings on the glass.

Looks like an excuse to visit Beaulieu again next year! Cheers. Tony

Hi
It certainly doesn't sound as if it matches any of the 3 BSA cars I photographed at the M/cycle museum, one of which is like the picture you posted sometime ago.

Tony,

What you have described sounds like the first iteration of the Lucas pre-focus light unit. I don't know how long they were in production but it wasn't long. They were succeeded by the more common unit with Lucas name in the centre circle. I had a look around the usual suppliers and 'bay but didn't see any.

Beaulieu might be br your best bet

Wadya know, I was there and two weeks later... Luckily the glass is split across in only one place from edge to edge and I do have the "Rally mesh screens I can fit over it.

Many thanks for all your help everyone and should you see one at a 'gathering' I'll pay the full whack and beer money too!

Cheers, Tony.
