Hi,
I'm new to the forum and believe it's good manners to introduce myself so I'm John, live in Devon and, while I don't really have any 'classic' cars my main driver is a 1994 Toyota so is getting there. What I do have, however, is a collection of rusty motorcycles, a 1960s/70s caravan and an interest in all old mechanical matters from paraffin camping stoves to steam engines to boats to....
I look forward to reading posts here and, who knows, maybe even making the odd contribution.
Cheers,
John |

Hello John and welcome.
I don't have anything approaching a Classic but take an interest in a wide range of subjects. OCC (Old Classic Car) Forum is diverse in both subject matter and opinions. |

Actually, nowhere on earth is a million miles from Ilminster. |

Hello John,
Many of us here have wide interests in things mechanical, and added to the fact that there are members from all over the globe, I am sure that you will enjoy discussi9ons many and various. Your motorcycles sound interesting. Any chance there is a Rover among them? _________________ Dane- roverdriver but not a Viking. |

Welcome to the forum John. I think you might be surprised at how many people would like to know more about your "collection of rusty motorcycles". |

Hi John and welcome. I have similar interests in all things mechanical but living in Scotland we have the Paddle Steamer Waverley. There was a very nice little motor museum in Colyton and I am sure you will know it. What a pity it closed. |

Hi John, welcome to the forum - enjoy.
Hi Ronnie, haven't seen you for a while - hope all is good for you.
Some time ago, when the Waverley had a new Scania gen-set installed.
I did some electrical work on it - that's my claim to fame! All the best,JD. _________________ 1958 Ford Zephyr Mk2 Convertible
