Can anyone help? I wish to know about the type of air-conditioning compressor used in the mid-late 1990's MITSUBISHI FTO 2Ltr V-6. Is it a nutating 'wobble'-plate type or a swash-plate type? NB I have been quoted these code-numbers: MR 233478 and MR 360252.
Also, does the mid-late 1990's TOYOTA Camry use a 'wobble'-plate type air-con compressor? If not, which models did?
Finally, which modern cars are now using the scroll-type air-conditioning compressor?
Thanks for your help.

I dare to think you would be better off asking these detailed type of questions about mid/late nineties Japanese cars in another forum. I am sure there must be forums (fora?) about Japanese (Rise) cars.

You could always try asking a spares dept at a main dealers. Perhaps someone will have access to a catalogue from that period.??

Alternately, perhaps an experienced a/c specialist would have the answers.
