Hi all,

Can anyone assist? A message arrived yesterday, its originator wondering whether anyone a) knew who made this type of plug connector and b) whether replacement(s) are available anywhere??

The car's a Delage, 1927, that spent much of its life in Oz before arriving in the UK. The mag is marked up RB, which could be for the French firm Societe' des Magnetos R.B., although this isn't 100% known for certain either.

The Green Spark Plug Co. didn't have anything I'm told.

All advice welcomed.

RJ

Any ideas about the connector on the HT lead?

Yes - hi-fi banana jack plugs are similar - you can find high-quality copper ones from music store PA/guitar vendors. As long as they are good & tight, the HT voltage shouldn't affect them.
