I am still a bit unsure what happens with my ERF lorry, I have the origi al buff log book and a V5 from many many years back with the original owners name on. The lorry is a rolling chassis with engine out of it and very little left of the cab.
Looking at that list if it were inspected for its original reg it does fulfill 8 of the list. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |

I would have thought that you'd be ok, as most restored lorries from the 1930s-1950s have fully rebuilt cabs on them. Saying that, if you have an old V5 and it's still registered, I'd be getting a new V5C in my name sooner rather than later, in case the rules change again at some point.
