Whilst recently rooting at an auto jumble my son has found an old engine, he took a punt hoping it was a bike engine and after some research it turns out to be a 1934 Royal Enfield engine from a model A. He is very keen to build it as an original model A or use a period frame and bits all down to what he can find so if you have any bits or suitable period stuff let me know.
Like most 19 year olds he has lots of enthusiasm but little cash, but he is very handy and being an apprentice engineer he has access to a work shop so can fabricate parts.
The engine is missing its inlet manifold, carb, magneto and fly wheel for starters.
Then a small, matter of Frame wheels etc
So if you have any bits you would like to see up and running again let me know.
Distance shouldn't be a problem

Just an update, managed to locate a frame, engine, gearbox and many other bits.
Now needs
Wheels
Mudguards
Magneto
Lights.
Don't have to the right ones just approximate period, he just wants it back on the road

Hi
At least in the bike world, the Bitza is a long standing tradition, 2 of which even got their own name; the Triton and the Tribsa.
