The subject of ethanol in petrol comes up quite regularly in magazines and elsewhere, has anyone here experienced issues such as rotting fuel lines as yet?

Funny you should ask the question as I had to replace the fuel line on the Bedford CA at the week end . The rubber had collapsed preventing the pump from sucking any petrol , whether it was due to Ethanol or the fact that the pipe was over 50 years old I don't know.

A constant worry Rick because mileage is decreasing now and the car just sits for a period of time. At a friend's house we put the XKSS on his ramp and all seems well - so far.

At 50 years old , the rubber fuel lines are long past their use by date !
