This is something I thought you all might like to see. This morning I took delivery of my new "extractor" manifold. This is designed specifically to go with the Eaton M45 supercharger that I am fitting to my MG TC. The workmanship is brilliant and in my humble opinion is not short of an automotive work of art.

Performance comes at a price but I am hoping to have something worth having at the end of it.

I hope you like it.

Very smart, I sometimes wonder about having a manifold made for little Dodge, as it's not in the best shape (but works, which is why I've left it).

Very nice workmanship.
One of the very few things that I had re-made professionally for my Commer was its fuel tank. It cost a lot of money but was so worth it, the craftsmanship was superb and sometimes it has to be done and simply admired.

Do we have any other examples of one-offs such as this?

Ray, that does look nice. Are you going to give it a name?

If I learned how to do it I could make a film of the rebuild. My reaction to some of the howlers old Henry has made would probably give it an X rating. When I dropped the sump there was not a split pin in sight. The reground crank not only had excessive clearances but had suffered scoring from dirty oil as the 60 year old oil filter had not been changed. I spent an hour this morning trying to remove an incorrect size big end bolt from a con rod. He had forced the bolt into the rod and to add injury to insult forced on a nut to fit it. In the end I had to cut it off with the angle grinder and drift the rest out using heat. The rod is probably ruined and a new set costs over a grand! Evil or Very Mad
